History

The District Court Complex Udhampur is located in the main ‎town just about a Kilometer away from Srinagar Jammu National ‎Highway, near Revenue Complex Udhampur. Court of District ‎and Sessions Judge has started functioning in 1964. The Court ‎of Additional District and Sessions Judge was created in 2008 ‎and the Court of Sub-Judge CJM has pre-independence ‎existence. By now we have two District and Sessions Courts and ‎five (5) Magisterial Courts located at the District Head Quarter and ‎three Taluka Court located outside the District Head Quarter.‎
